Trust & Security

How CadNews handles your data, account security, and privacy.

This page is maintained by Cadency LLC to answer common security and privacy questions about CadNews. It describes current app practices and is editable content — not an independent audit or certification.

Accounts & Authentication

  • Sign-in supports email & password and Google sign-in.
  • Sessions are managed by our auth provider with secure, rotating tokens.
  • You can sign out at any time from Settings.

Data Protection

  • Traffic to CadNews is served over HTTPS.
  • Access to your saved analyses, settings, and subscription data is restricted to your signed-in account through database-level row security policies.
  • Administrative actions require an explicit admin role on the account.

What We Store

  • Your account profile (email and display name).
  • Analyses you run or save, and your usage counts for billing limits.
  • Newsletter subscription status, if you opted in.
  • Subscription and payment records returned by our payments provider — we do not store full card numbers.

Subprocessors

CadNews relies on the following service providers to operate the app:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and storage.
  • Lovable — application hosting and edge runtime.
  • Paddle — subscription billing and payment processing.
  • Resend / transactional email provider — account and contact form emails.

Your Choices
